Harlaxton College offers a varied curriculum which contains a core set of courses taught by our resident British Faculty and additional courses taught by Visiting Faculty from a wide variety of Partner Schools and a wide range of disciplines.
Harlaxton's broad based curriculum allows students from most majors to choose a semester at Harlaxton which compliments their field of study and, very often, helps fulfil several General Education requirements.
Studying for a full 16 week semester allows students to take full advantage of all the travel, cultural immersion and personal growth opportunities that an extended study abroad experience can offer.
We endeavor to publish our curricula at least a year in advance to help you plan. The following pages include details of a particular semester/summer calendar, course offerings, descriptions and timetable, together with courses syllabii (where available).
Harlaxton College offers a 5 week summer school each year and, like our regular semesters, we offer a broad curriculum and several travel opportunities. Often courses are tailored to allow a 'touring' theme with classroom academics and field trips being used to produce an intensive programme of study.
Summer School information is usually available in November of the preceding year. The following pages include details of a particular Summer School.
From the beginning of May until mid-August each year the College hosts a variety of residential groups. The participants may be diverse in experience, nationality and background, but all live for a while in this beautiful Manor, have classes in unique surroundings and enjoy course related travel.
