Useful Information

Studying abroad is a fabuloius opportunity to experience new and exciting cultural and experiential differencies and often includes a journey of self discovery. But, by definition, your initial experience will be unfamiliar and the thought of leaving family, friends and 'home' may even be 'scary'.

The pages in this section of the web site are designed to answer some (but not all - as that might spoil the surprise) of the obvious preperation and orientation type questions you might have.

Our Orientation Notes guide you through preparing to come to Harlaxton; from making sure your passport is current to deciding what to pack.

The Student Handbook gives 'chapter and verse' on academic and student policies and procedures as well as further information which will help you prepare.

The Parent Handbook has been designed to help your family adjust to your 'leaving home' and give useful information in case they would like to visit you whilst your are here. By the way, your visitors - friends and family - are most welcome.
