Campus Organizations

The pages in this section highlight the various ways in which our students manage and organise various events and activities throughout the College; from Bistro Parties to sitting on Faculty Council, there are ways for every student to 'get involved'.

  • The Student Government Association is an active group of students on campus, planning events throughout the semester with the support of the Student Affairs Office. SGA meets almost every week and includes five committees who are responsible for planning many student-led events.

  • The Faculty Council is the governing body of the faculty. It exists to make recommendations to the principal of Harlaxton College and the vice president for academic affairs at the University of Evansville on all matters relating to the academic standards, curriculum, educational facilities, library and learning resources, faculty morale and all other matters pertaining to the general welfare of the Harlaxton academic community. Membership includes one elected student representative.
  • Student Ambassadors are volunteer positions with responsibility for helping the College to host events and visitors.
