Student life at Harlaxton is an integral part of the Harlaxton Experience. We offer many opportunities for student involvement through Student Government and other student groups interested in planning an event. The Student Affairs staff strives to support students by providing opportunities for the enhancement of academic, cultural, social, and recreational aspects of student life. Every Harlaxton student has the opportunity to become involved on campus.

Dean of Students

The Dean of Students is the administrative head of students affairs at Harlaxton. The dean lives on the premises and is available in emergencies. The dean coordinates all matters relating to housing and residential living, advised Student Government, coordinates event planning, as well as being reponsible for all judicial procedures.

Bronwyn Rout
Assistant Dean of Students

The Assistant Dean of Students acts in the dean's absence and assist in the coordination of student affairs programming on campus. The assistant dean is additionally responsible for arranging all aspects of the travel element for Harlaxton College. The assistant dean also lives on the premises and is available in emergencies.

Joanne Tinker
Student Affairs Assistant

The Student Affairs Assistant is responsible for most administrative assistance in the office, helping to oversee student workstudy, the Meet-a-Family programme, event coordination, and preparing paperwork for student information files and events.
