Why book a trip with Harlaxton College?

Harlaxton College offers trips to a number of British towns and cities as well as offering trips to Ireland, Paris and Italy. So why take a trip with the college? Well, one of the major reason students book their trips with the college is because everything is hassle free, all booking arrangements are taken care of for you.

Many of the places we visit are places you will learn about during your course in British Studies and these can provide an excellent accompaniment to the things you will learn. Many of Britain’s town and cities are rich in history, cultural buildings, and monuments dating back to the Roman era.

A Harlaxton member of staff accompanies each trip to ensure that everything runs smoothly and to assist students with any problems that may arise. A college trip also allows you to travel with a large number of your fellow students allowing you to spend time with people you might not ordinarily mix with so these trips can be an excellent way to make new friends.

What do I get?

To help you get the most out of your trip with us, and to enable you to be better informed about the places you are going to, we offer a pre-trip orientation session. During these orientations we will tell you about the place(s) you are going to and provide you with information on attractions and things to do. Where appropriate we will inform you how best to use the local transport as well as provide you with a map. On trips which go to Europe, we will provide you with useful words, phrases and idioms that will help you communicate with the local people.

Faculty and Families
