CONFERENCES & BANQUETING

Here at Harlaxton Manor, we pride ourselves on our flexible, friendly approach to hosting conferences, banquets, concerts, team building events, exhibitions, seminars, networking events and product launches. We are able to offer residential packages, although mainly in the summer months, or competitive day delegate rates.

Our conference facilities and meeting rooms can be utilised for one large conference and/or smaller break out rooms. Our facilities are excellent with wireless access throughout and up-to-date presentation, video-conferencing, sound and audio-visual equipment associated with a leading University campus.
arrowThe Rooms
Subject to availability, you can hire a single meeting room or the whole of the Manor. We have the flexibility to accommodate a number of seating layouts in each room. Below are some examples:
The Great Hall
With its ornate oak panelling, magnificent crystal chandelier and Italian marble flooring, the Great Hall is a stunning space for larger corporate events and concerts for up to 120 guests, theatre style.
The Gold Room
This elaborately decorated room, reminiscent of a grand French Chateau, can accommodate 60 guests theatre style and flows beautifully through to our Conservatory. The Gold Room is also ideal for more intimate banquets and can also accommodate up to 28 delegates in a boardroom formation.
The Conservatory
Harlaxton Manor’s extensive Conservatory is the largest in the East Midlands and provides a magnificent indoor/outdoor space, even if the British weather isn’t favorable. A great space for afternoon tea, informal meetings or breakout areas. The Conservatory flows out onto the Manor’s manicured lawns and the extensive gardens beyond.
The Long Gallery
With its floor to ceiling panelling, handsome portraits and stunning views of the grounds, the Long Gallery can comfortably seat 130 guests for a formal seated banquet or 96 guests cabaret style. It can also seat up to 200 guests, theatre style.
The State Dining Room
The State Dining Room, with far-reaching views over the picturesque Vale of Belvoir, boasts one of the Manor’s most elaborate Italian plasterwork ceilings, oak panelling and a huge marble fireplace. The room can accommodate up to 60 guests, theatre style or 36 in a boardroom formation.
The Culpin and Sherwin Rooms
These less elaborate classrooms are ideal as breakout areas and both rooms can accommodate 30 delegates theatre style or up to 20 in a boardroom formation.
The Jesuit Conference Room and Seminar Room
Smaller classrooms for up to 10 delegates boardroom style.
Rooms 128 and 130
Both rooms can accommodate up to 20 delegates, theatre style or 12 boardroom style.

All catering is managed by our experienced in-house team. Whether you’re looking for a formal three course seated banquet, a hot and cold fork buffet, afternoon cream tea or a meal in our College Refectory, we can cater to most budgets. Harlaxton Manor offers privacy and discretion in the relaxed surroundings of 117 acres of formal gardens, park and woodland. We’re easily accessible by road, rail and air with ample free on-site parking for your delegates. Located between Grantham and Melton Mowbray, with easy access from Nottingham, Leicester, Peterborough and Lincoln, the venue is close to the A1 and just over an hour by train from London’s Kings Cross.
