Harlaxton Manor offers an exceptional variety of filming locations within one estate. Its distinctive architecture combines Jacobean, Baroque and Victorian influences, with grand State Rooms, sweeping staircases, ornate ceilings, long corridors, impressive entrance halls, period features and dramatic exterior façades. The estate also includes formal gardens, terraces, woodland, parkland, estate roads, courtyards and a variety of outbuildings, providing multiple looks without moving the production to another location.

Harlaxton is an established filming location and our experienced on-site team understands the requirements of professional film and television productions, from initial recces through to large-scale shoots.

The estate can accommodate substantial crews, with extensive on-site parking, space for production vehicles and unit bases, back-of-house access and rooms that can be used for production offices, green rooms, hair and make-up, wardrobe and crew holding. Wi-Fi, power, toilets and catering facilities are available on site.

Accommodation is also available within the Harlaxton estate, subject to availability. Located close to the A1 and approximately 10 minutes from Grantham railway station, with direct trains to London King’s Cross taking around one hour, Harlaxton provides the scale and visual impact of a major historic estate while remaining highly accessible for productions travelling from London and across the UK.
